Many orphans and their caregivers received chickens and goats this weekend. Along with receiving the animals, they also received training from veterinarians on how to properly raise the animals. These animals will help them provide an additional source of income for them to meet their family's basic needs and pay for the student's school fees to attend school.
The piglets will be given to the orphans at a later time. Currently in their village there are not mature piglets to purchase. Our team has found some baby piglets and have decided to wait until they become more mature to give to the families to start a piggery.
