Please consider partnering with Jennifer, Nathan, & Katelyn as they visit our Children's Hope Uganda orphans this March!

We will be in Uganda from March 20th to April 2nd.

Some of our plans include:
- Hosting a Center Day for all our 140 Children's Hope beneficiares and their caregivers. We are hoping to provide all of these students with new school shoes!
- Visit Chahi Secondary School. (the school Moses & Adrine teach at) Nathan & Katelyn will make a presentation to all the students at a student wide assembly, Jennifer will host a lunch time PD meeting with all teachers and staff. 
- Visit several village schools that our Children's Hope students attend (Nathan & Katelyn will make a presentation to students, Jennifer to teachers). We are hoping to make over 50 desk donations to these schools!
- Conduct home vists to some of our Children's Hope beneficiaries in their hillside village community and tour their vocational skills projects.
- Partner with Chahi Secondary School's Interact Club on a service project.
- Attend the Kisoro Rotary Meeting and Jennifer will speak.
- Small group time with groups of Children's Hope beneficiares and the caregiver leadership team.
- Attend Moses & Adrine's church and make a short speech of encouragement.
- Nathan & Katelyn will pass out sports equipment- especially soccer balls to some of our community groups. They will play soccer with them and host a short devotional for them.


A few other notes for our friends that have been following our journey over the last 7 years!
- We're going to once again stay at Adrine's house. Four years ago we helped remodel her house to include a flushing toilet & shower! This time we are hoping to have electricity installed at her house. (Previously, we had donated a solar generator for her & Children's Hope but it is challenging in the rainy season when the sun doesn't shine daily!) This is a great experience because it gives us an authentic family village experience and allows for lots of extra bonding time!
- We're excited to spend lots of time with Moses & Edith and their beautiful daughter Kayleen who is almost 2.5 years already! We enjoy spending time with their extended families as we have gotten to know them over the years and during their wedding festivities in 2022.
- We couldn't travel to Uganda without our amazing driver and friend, Peter! We're so excited that he now has his own driving/traveling company; we can work with him directly instead of having to book through his employeer. We are also so excited to spend time with this beautiful wife Leah- and their 3 children-- Nina (7), Simon Peter (3), and Nathan (1). Nathan is so excited to meet his son who was named after him! 
- We are hoping Maama Stella will be traveling with us too. Regardless, we will be staying at her house in Entebbe/Kampala and seeing her the day we fly in & out.
- Nathan & Katelyn are excited but nervous for their presentation to students. They will be sharing about the Fruit of the Spirit and sharing personal stories and encouragment. Since our Ugandan friends always love to share their traditional dancing with us- they have decided to share with them the dance moves from Forrest Frank's song Your Way is Better. I can't wait to share the videos with you!
- Please pray for us! We normally travel to Uganda in July during their dry season. This trip we will be visiting in March during their rainy season because of Katelyn's commitment to her travel ball softball team that makes July a challenging month to be gone travelling. We are praying for traveling mercies as the dirt roads that take us to the hillside village of our Children's Hope beneficiaries can be difficult to reach in heavy rains. Please pray that the rain would not prevent us from keeping our plans and service projects!
