We want to donate desks to some of the local village schools that our Children's Hope beneficiaries attend, addressing the challenge of overcrowded classrooms where many students are squeezed together on poorly made desks or sitting on handmade mats on the dirt floor. By providing sturdy, comfortable classroom desks, we aim to create a conducive learning environment that supports both students and teachers. This initiative reflects our commitment to uplifting the local village schools that play a vital role in nurturing the futures of our children. Every desk donated helps ensure that students have the proper space to learn and grow with dignity. Supporting these schools strengthens the entire community and aligns with Children’s Hope Uganda’s mission to foster education and opportunity. Each handmade desk/bench cost $25 and we are hoping to donate 50 school desks.
